This means we will do what it takes to give you an outstanding experience, and the best possible mosquito control.

A: Mosquitos rest in the foliage of plants. All of our barrier treatments (Organic, Premium and Prestige) are applied to these foliage areas where they dry, forming a long lasting barrier that varies according to treatment choice. If the mosquito lands on the treated foliage it will die. The active ingredients are biodegradable and therefore need to be reapplied.

Misting Systems FAQ’s

A: Thank you for your question. Mosquito Monster believes in MistAway’s misting systems, especially the Tankless Misting unit, the Gen III. It is a batch processing unit that precisely mixes regular water from your faucet with Botanical insecticides from a cartridge in a batch tank and then atomizes it through an installed nozzle circuit to control mosquitoes and other annoying insects.
In addition to that, the unit may be programmed to mist up to 24 times daily (we generally recommend 2-3 times daily; each cycle with a 45-60 second duration, for a daily total of 90-180 seconds).
Also, the unit will mist in response to a signal from a handheld remote transmitter for a duration programmed by you, the user.
A: Thank you for checking out our website and for submitting your question. The insecticide of choice is Pyrethrum. Pyrethrum is a natural insecticide made from chrysanthemum flowers. This insecticide protects flowers from plant-eating insects. Physiologically, the pyrethrums inhibit the mosquito’s desire to bite. Further, it repels the mosquitos when they enter an area that contains trace amounts of the mist. So, when the mosquito contacts the mist, it quickly shows erratic flight behavior, then paralysis, then goodbye mosquitos.
A: All pesticides for use as larvicides and adulticides must be registered with the EPA and the State of Georgia. Mosquito Monster is committed to using pesticides, including pyrethrum, that are not only approved but used according to label instructions. The insecticide we use is considered to have low-toxicity to mammals. Also, it has been used in agricultural and equine applications for a quarter century with no known harmful effects. Not only is the use of Pyrethrum safe, they help, especially your dog, from certain mosquitoes under particular circumstances that carry and transmit heartworms. Pyrethrum gives a full protection with each automatic spray. It controls your insect problem with less insecticide, and saves you time and money, as you take back your yard and build relationships.
